High school senior Matthew Kidman (Emile Hirsh) is very ambitious, aiming for a career in politics. However, he and his dorky friends are outsiders at their school. Things begin to change when a beautiful new girl moves in next door. After a rough begin Matt starts to date the first spirited Danielle (Elisha Cuthbert). Their relationship hits a bump when Matt learns from his friends that she is a porn star. Upset that Matt is expecting a porn star and not the real her Danielle leaves town. Matt and his friends follow her to a porn convention in Las Vegas. Matt wins her back, but angers a crazy porn producer. Matt has to figure out how to secure a scholarship to Georgetown, hold on to Danielle, and fight off the producer.
