Julian Noble (Pierce Brosnan) is a trained assassin that eliminates requested targets. He meets a business man named Danny Wright (Greg Kinnear) who becomes his friend. While doing contracts, Julian starts to have mental problems and he sees himself in the place of his targets. He wants to get out of the business but can't, so he has Danny Wright help him complete his assigned tasks so he can get out of the assassination business once and for all.
